Holidays

twas the Season…

Yes.  I know.  I know.  Christmas has long been forgotten.  But I thought I would share a little bit of the holiday happenings at Chez V.

Aside from the normal holiday chaos I was fairly busy with some custom gift orders.  Didn’t get pictures of everything – this was pre blog, people.  And I did end up making a lot for family and friends, which was infinitely more fun than fighting crazy pants people at the malls.  Insanity.

I did monogrammed crystal tumblers for my sis & her hubby

Final presentation

For my step-sister, inspired by the ones sold at Furbish

Wine tumblers were big sellers this year

I added numbers to these for cocktail id!  Can't use stem tags.

Speaking of which, I also decided to do our Christmas cards this year rather than order them from Minted as we have done the last 2 years.  I can't speak highly enough about the ease and quality of work not to mention the community of super talented designers they support.  I just thought I could swing it this year.

I paired these with kelly green envelopes

This year was so enjoyable with the Monster.  Oh, yeah.  Let me formally introduce you to the fam.  There is Mr. V, me, and the Monster, our 3 year old daughter.  And before you freak, she isn't really a monster.  It is one of our many affectionate monikers that unfortunately stuck more than the others.  So, yeah.  She was really into Christmas this year.

Living Room

So that's a little taste of Christmas 'round these parts.  Tomorrow I will start to share some of our house projects.

  1. Wow, you seem like quite the Mrs-do-it-all! I'm impressed! Your house looks fab and I would certainly not mind trying one of those yummy Christmas treats! PS - I'm not over Christmas this year either... Is it too late to post about Christmas? I think not...

  2. Gabrielle - it is never too late to post about Christmas. Or too early for that matter! I am already making plans for this year!
