Tales From the Projects - the Blockprinting Continues

I’m told that a sure sign of insanity is doing the same thing over and over while expecting a different result.  And yet every morning I run to the window in hopes that Spring has truly arrived only to have my dreams dashed again and again when welcomed by freezing temps and SNOW again.  Middle finger groundhog.  Longest winter ever.  Beginning of Spring my ass.  I am getting downright cranky.  Any semblance of handling this extra long cold spell with grace is long gone.  In true koo koo fashion, I am consumed in my own endless loop.  Lots of drawing, carving, and printing.  And repeat.  Thankfully, in this case, I am getting the desired result.  This is my latest fabric run.  The siren in ultramarine.

It’s an endless Groundhog’s Day around here.  How about where you are?

AGREED! I m OVER this weather and super over the same socks and sensible shoes I have to wear every day. I try to pick up the winter crafts I was so into a few months ago...but catching a glimpse of my balcony only makes me long for grilled chicken and fruity frothy drinks...

That being said, I LOVE the fabric printing you've been doing..and hey, at least all those gold dots will pass the time until we see some 50 and 60 degree temps...right...RIGHT??

I am going to enjoy the crap out of this summer. :)

I love this blog print. I am trash talking Mother Nature over here. It is 20 degrees below normal...whatever that is. Monday is more snow. I'm going crazy.

Love your prints. is there a possibility that you might do a blog on how to carve the blocks and then another on the printing and tips on what materials / paints you recommend - I would be so so grateful> I would love to try this out ( in an expensive way if possible)
Kind Regards
CAthy
